Christina Neuwirth is a writer and researcher based in Edinburgh. Their short fiction has been published in Gutter and 404Ink’s literary journal, and their non-fiction can be found in CommonSpace, Marbles, The Dangerous Women Project and in 404Ink’s best selling anthology Nasty Women. She is one of QueerWordsProjectScotland’s five Emerging Writers 2018. She is currently working on a novel and pursuing a PhD. Amphibian is their first solo publication.
Set in Edinburgh, Amphibian is a witty satire of office culture which mixes the absurd with the mundane. Amphibian follows the story of Rose who works at a MoneyTownCashGrowth. She arrives to work one morning to find that the entire fourth floor is slowly being filled with water as part of a desperate attempt to improve productivity.
